bout time for everyone to give their props to coach vermillion...he took 2 pretty good squads and won with them...but this year has to be his best in terms of coaching...this team wasn't nearly as experienced as his prior teams and yet he still gets the job done

Probably the best coach in the district. I mean GC usually has athletes, but not really any great basketball players. Vermillion emphasizes nasty defense and hardcore rebounding which is what makes GC so successful. I like his style.

I think he has been fortunate to be at two schools with good basketball talent. I don't know how the style he plays now would work at another without similar talent. His record does speak for itself.
Coach's best work is done during the offseason and in preparation before season's games...he does a great job of making those players who you see as having good talent...he and Coach Ervin are the ones who developed that talent
